This will give you greater mobility flexibility and comfort on the slopes.
Silhouette: Opt for a tailored fit rather than a boxy or oversized design. Tailored fit is the most recommende silhouette as Descente The Athletic fit is not quite oversized, but it is a size larger than the tailored fit. Product without the original sales invoice will be excluded from warranty coverage and hence you will need to find a repair workshop yourself.
Zipper, logos, seams, and snaps are normally repairable. However, confirmation can only be made after initial repair assessment.
Our warranty policy in general does not cover fabric issues such as stains, holes caused by misuse, or fabric wear and tear resulting from long-term use. We suggest contacting a local tailor shop for advice.

Our warranty policy does not cover damages caused by misuse or accidents. Fabric holes caused by external damage are excluded from repair under warranty. We recommend visiting a local repair or tailor shop.
Laundering after every use:
- After ski season, you need to launder the garments.
- Follow washing instructions on the care label.
- After laundering, treat the garments with a water repellent application again to maintain functionality. We use water repellent finish on the outside of the garments in production. However, this function is not permanent and over time it will wear off if not being maintained.
Storing during the off-season:
- The garment should be cleaned before storing. If this is not done, the garment may not be protected from adverse factors such as moulds, and insects.
-After laundering, remove the garment from the poly bag. It is better for the garment to be exposed so that solvent from laundering will vanish. The poly bag should not be used for storage.
- Store your garment in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from high heat and humidity.
- Do not put heavy items on top of the garment.
- Do not store in a cardboard box. Sometimes white fabrics fade to an undesirable yellow. This is due to the chemical reaction from a paper carton or because it absorbs nitrogen gas from the air.
- Do not put under sunlight for a long period of time or near a gas stove. The ski garment is very sensitive to gas and will easily fade.
- if the zipper does not slide properly, try rubbing wax on the zipper.
Please always follow the care instructions sewn into the products
- If the product is marked as hand-washable, it can be hand-washed at home ( the washing and drying may be insufficient though). For this reason, wet cleaning (washing in mild water at a laundry) is recommended.
- If the product is marked for use with a neutral detergent, use a neutral detergent for wool and silk.
- If the product is marked as not to be washed at home, do not wash at home. Send it to a professional dry-cleaning service.
Hand-washing instruction:
-Spot washing
For heavily soiled areas such as collar and cuffs, first use a sponge or cloth (with a neutral detergent for wool and silk ) to pat-wash.
Please test it in an inconspicuous place of the product before washing a bigger area.
Avoid using toothbrush as it may damage the fabric.
For highly pigmented stains such as curry or wine, please send to professional service.
If stain such as mud has penetrated deep into the fabric, please do not wash that area by force. Please send to professional service.

Remove the hood and wash it separately. Zippers, hooks etc should be closed as leaving them open may damage the garment. Shape the garment to prevent it from losing its shape.
*If your Mizusawa Down has a drainage fastener on the back side under both arms (inside front waistband for trousers), open this fastener and wash the garment inside out.
-Pre-wash
Dissolve a neutral detergent for wool and silk in warm water in a clean washing tank. Soak the garment in it and gently push-wash.
- Rinse and wash
Rinse the garment by pressing gently and rinse twice.
- Dehydrate the garment by squeezing lightly and removing water with a bath towel.
- Drying
Check the care label and dry the garment according to the maximum exhaust temperature if it can be tumble-dried.
When drying in the shade, make sure it is well-ventilated. Periodically loosen the down inside the garment.
